How to reconstitute AOD-9604

  1. Wipe both vial stoppers with a fresh alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw 2 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Insert the needle at an angle into the AOD-9604 vial and let the water run slowly down the inner wall — do not inject directly onto the powder.
  4. Do not shake. Gently swirl the vial until the peptide fully dissolves.
  5. Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated (2–8 °C / 36–46 °F) and use within roughly 28 days.
  6. Draw each dose to the unit mark shown above for your target 300 mcg dose.

About AOD-9604

AOD-9604 is a synthetic fragment of the C-terminal region of human growth hormone (amino acids 176–191). It was developed as a potential obesity treatment to retain HGH's lipolytic activity without its growth-promoting effects.

Half-life: Approximately 30 minutes (plasma)
Typical dose range: 250–500 mcg per injection, once daily (typically fasted)
Class: Modified growth hormone fragment (residues 176–191)

AOD-9604 calculator FAQ

Is this a AOD-9604 peptide calculator or a reconstitution calculator?

Both. This AOD-9604 calculator converts vial strength, bacteriostatic-water volume, and target dose into milliliters and insulin-syringe units. It does not recommend a medical dose.

How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg AOD-9604 vial?

This page is pre-filled with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg AOD-9604 vial because that is a common research ratio. You can adjust the water amount in the full calculator.

How many units is a 300 mcg AOD-9604 dose?

With the default 5 mg vial and 2 ml BAC-water ratio, the preview above calculates the U-100 syringe units for a 300 mcg dose. Change the dose if your protocol uses a different amount.

Does this AOD-9604 dosage calculator give medical advice?

No. It only performs unit math. Dosing, titration, and whether AOD-9604 is appropriate are clinical decisions that should be made with a licensed healthcare professional.
