How to reconstitute GHK-Cu

  1. Wipe both vial stoppers with a fresh alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw 5 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Insert the needle at an angle into the GHK-Cu vial and let the water run slowly down the inner wall — do not inject directly onto the powder.
  4. Do not shake. Gently swirl the vial until the peptide fully dissolves.
  5. Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated (2–8 °C / 36–46 °F) and use within roughly 28 days.
  6. Draw each dose to the unit mark shown above for your target 2000 mcg dose.

About GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide with well-studied effects on collagen synthesis, wound healing, and hair follicle stimulation. Widely used topically; injectable use is research-only.

Half-life: Approximately 0.5–1 hour systemically
Typical dose range: 1–3 mg per injection; topical concentrations vary
Class: Copper-binding tripeptide

GHK-Cu calculator FAQ

Is this a GHK-Cu peptide calculator or a reconstitution calculator?

Both. This GHK-Cu calculator converts vial strength, bacteriostatic-water volume, and target dose into milliliters and insulin-syringe units. It does not recommend a medical dose.

How much bacteriostatic water for a 50 mg GHK-Cu vial?

This page is pre-filled with 5 ml of bacteriostatic water for a 50 mg GHK-Cu vial because that is a common research ratio. You can adjust the water amount in the full calculator.

How many units is a 2000 mcg GHK-Cu dose?

With the default 50 mg vial and 5 ml BAC-water ratio, the preview above calculates the U-100 syringe units for a 2000 mcg dose. Change the dose if your protocol uses a different amount.

Does this GHK-Cu dosage calculator give medical advice?

No. It only performs unit math. Dosing, titration, and whether GHK-Cu is appropriate are clinical decisions that should be made with a licensed healthcare professional.
