How to reconstitute Selank

  1. Wipe both vial stoppers with a fresh alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw 2 ml of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Insert the needle at an angle into the Selank vial and let the water run slowly down the inner wall — do not inject directly onto the powder.
  4. Do not shake. Gently swirl the vial until the peptide fully dissolves.
  5. Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated (2–8 °C / 36–46 °F) and use within roughly 28 days.
  6. Draw each dose to the unit mark shown above for your target 300 mcg dose.

About Selank

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide modeled on tuftsin. It is studied for anxiolytic, nootropic, and immunomodulatory effects without the sedation or dependence of benzodiazepines.

Half-life: Approximately 30 minutes systemically
Typical dose range: 250–500 mcg intranasally, 1–3x daily
Class: Heptapeptide anxiolytic / nootropic

Selank calculator FAQ

Is this a Selank peptide calculator or a reconstitution calculator?

Both. This Selank calculator converts vial strength, bacteriostatic-water volume, and target dose into milliliters and insulin-syringe units. It does not recommend a medical dose.

How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg Selank vial?

This page is pre-filled with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg Selank vial because that is a common research ratio. You can adjust the water amount in the full calculator.

How many units is a 300 mcg Selank dose?

With the default 5 mg vial and 2 ml BAC-water ratio, the preview above calculates the U-100 syringe units for a 300 mcg dose. Change the dose if your protocol uses a different amount.

Does this Selank dosage calculator give medical advice?

No. It only performs unit math. Dosing, titration, and whether Selank is appropriate are clinical decisions that should be made with a licensed healthcare professional.
